World Cancer Research Fund International (http://www.wcrf.org) asked people what they thought causes cancer. Aside from smoking, the main risk factors for cancer are:

• physical inactivity
• unhealthy diet
• alcohol use 

One third of the most common cancers can be prevented.

GIANT'S VS. PADRES Tuesday, September 6, 2011 Petco Park

On the day after Labor Day, the San Diego Padres face a tough test, hosting the defending World Series Champion San Francisco Giants at PETCO Park. The Padres have a gifted pitching staff, and new arrival Cameron Maybin is an exciting young center fielder. The Giants are locked in a race for their second consecutive National League West crown, and they too have a strong pitching rotation. The Giants' lineup features third baseman Pablo "Kung Fu Panda" Sandoval, as well as outfielder Carlos Beltran, who joined the team this summer in a trade.
