How does a penis pump work?
The penis pump is designed to generate vacuum suction, which promotes the blood filling the corpus cavernosum repeadtedly, thereby promoting the erection of the penis.
A complete penis pump usually consists of:
- a cylinder or tube where the penis can be inserted into
- a hand or a battery-powered pump is attached to the cylinder
- then there’s a hose that connects the pump and the cylinder
- and a silicone seal at the opening of the tube (a constriction or an O-ring)
that keeps the seal tight.
